Not only organic Vegetables should be eaten with understanding — Digital transformation of organic farms width=

Background

The main objective of the greenhouse farm is to provide organic vegetables and promote the cause of improving the environment and ecology. Currently, we are planning product development, not only to continuously improve and introduce organic cultivation products, including organic fertilizers, liquid fertilizers, and control materials, which are suitable for all agricultural production processes, but also to actively invest in the use of organic farming methods to produce agricultural products that meet the requirements and provide safety protection for consumers' health.

Challenge

The greenhouse farm aims to provide the most suitable growing environment for vegetables. The temperature, humidity, lighting and pH levels in the greenhouse become the basis for nutrient spraying to achieve uniformity and stability of the product, and thus achieve the best productivity and efficiency. Greenhouse farm owners manage 50 soil testers in the greenhouse and need to monitor them 24 hours a day. Greenhouse farms expect to replace a large amount of manpower and immediate response capability with an intelligent greenhouse agricultural automation monitoring system.

Solution

The box channel device can be connected to a soil tester to receive real-time data including temperature, humidity, illumination and pH, and send the data to the maintenance management platform via OpcUa to control the farm status with zero time difference.

Results and Benefits

Greenhouse farm owner management connects the 50 soil testers in the greenhouse with OpcUa and the cartridge to record parameters of temperature, humidity, illumination, and pH in a time-stamped manner, and provides users with a browser-based way to monitor these 50 soil testers. In addition to internal management, it can also be used to track the history of products, so that consumers can eat with peace of mind.

The visualized IoT Studio can record the environmental values of the soil and also serve as an alarm management, instantly informing personnel of the status of the plant so that they can quickly respond to adjust the environmental settings of the greenhouse and upload each event as historical data to the maintenance management platform to help greenhouse farm owners provide the best growing environment for vegetables.
